Path to Performance: Team Development & Conflict Resolution for Leaders
Regardless of experience or organizational level,
no employee is an island. Most work in team environments where they must partner with others to accomplish tasks and goals. Yet, very
few teams have an effective framework for doing so.
In this course, participants examine a framework that outlines the feelings and
behaviors common at each stage of a team’s development, as well as actions and activities recommended to help them progress toward
a desired level of performance. Participants also explore common conflict management styles and discover how to navigate through conflict
and guide their teams toward effective collaboration.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Identify behaviors common
of teammates in each phase of team development
- Utilize a self-assessment tool to help teammates get to know themselves and one
another better
- Recognize how individual conflict management styles influence the behavior of others and contribute to the establishment
of team norms
- Lead team members efficiently through conflict toward high performance and results
